Abstract
Due to the combination reaction between human serum albumin (HSA) and the intromolecular charge transfer (ICT) compound,1-keto-2-(p-dimethylaminobenzal)-tetrahydronaphthalene (KDTN),fluorescence of which was found to be enhanced.Linear relationship between the magnitude of the enhanced fluorescence intensity and mass concentration of HSA was found in the range of 13.6-272.0 mg·L-1.Based on these facts, the new ICT fluorescence probe was proposed to be used for determination of HSA.Detection limit (3S/N) of this method was found to be 0.136 mg·L-1.Recovery and precision of the method were tested by standard addition method, giving values of average recovery of 104.4% and RSD′s (n=7) of 4.1%.
