    ICP-AES Determination of Trace Elements in Adamas Dentis and Ebur Dentis of Decayed Teeth

    • Sample of teeth was digested with a mixture of HNO3 and HClO4,and contents of trace elements,including,Zn,Fe,Cu,Sr,Mg,Cr,Al and Pb,in adamas dentis and ebur dentis of decayed teeth and healthy teeth were determined by ICP-AES.Under the optimized conditions,values of limit of determination (10S/N) of the elements found were same to be 0.03 mg·L-1,and recovery were in the range of 96.3%-114.0%.Relationship between the contents of trace elements in adamas dentis and ebur dentis for patients with dental caries disease was studied.It was found that the contents of Zn,Fe,Cu and Sr in adamas dentis and ebur dentis of healthy teeth were higher than those in decayed teeth;but the contents of Mg,Cr,Al and Pb were contrary.Therefore,the contents of trace elements in teeth could be a factor to indicate sorts of teeth diseases.
