ICP-AES Determination of Trace Elements in Body-wall of Sea Cucumber with Microwave Assisted Sample Digestion

Five elements,i.e. Zn,Fe,Cu,Cr and Mn of microamounts in body wall of sea cucumber were determined by ICP-AES with sample digestion in MDS-2003F microwave digestor. Five mL of 10 mol·L-1 HNO3 were used in the digestion. As shown by data of statistical study,no significant differences were found between the analytical results obtained by the microwave assisted sample digestion and by the conventional method. Precision of the method was tested and values of RSD′s (n=5) found were in the range of 1.09% to 3.16%. Recovery found were in the range of 93.4%-102.6%.
