Abstract
High-resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was applied to the determination of trace amounts of lead and chromium in zinc-plated steel plate.Contents at order of magnitude of 10-5% (mass percentage) can be determined by this method. In the application to the analysis of some standard samples, results found were in consistency with the standard or known values.Test for recovery was performed, the results obtained were in the range from 95% to 106%.Precision was also tested, and values of RSD′s (n=7) obtained were less than 5%.
