    • A review on the recent advances of researches on analytical methods of germanium covering mainly years from 2000 to 2008 was given. The characteristics and defects of the analytical methods including titrimetry, spectrophotometry, fluorophotometry, AFS, AAS, ICP-AES, ICP-MS and electrochemical method were related. A forecast for the future application of these analytical methods was also given (65 ref. cited).
