    XRFS Determination of K, Pb, Zn and As in Iron Ore with Sample Preparation by Fusion

    • XRFS was applied to the determination of K,Pb,Zn and As in iron ore with sample preparation by fusion. The sample was fused at 1 050 ℃ for 20 min using Li2BO4 and Li2CO3 as flux. The glass discs prepared after cooling of the iron ore sample was used for XRFS analysis. Calibration curve was prepared with CRM. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of iron ore standard sample (GSB 1805-2005), giving results in consistency with the certified value with RSD′s (n=10) in the range of 2.0%-4.5%.
