Study on Interaction Between Chrysin with BSA by Linear Sweep Voltammetry

    • The interaction between chrysin with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by linear sweepping voltammetry. The optimized conditions found were as follows: ① medium: Na2HPO4-NaH2PO4 buffer solution of pH 7.40; ② reaction time: 20 min; ③ reaction temperature: 298 K; ④ ionic strength: 1.0×10-3mol·L-1 NaCl. It was found that an electrochemically non-active supermolecular compound between chrysin and BSA was formed, with transfer coefficient (α) of 0.121 9 and apparent electron transfer rate constant (ks) of 0.914 s-1.
