Determination of Antibody Protein with Lumichrome Fluorescence Probe

Based on the fluorescence quenching of lumichrome due to its combination with bovine serum albumin (BSA) and the linear relationship between magnitude of intensity of fluorescence quenching of lumichrome and concentration of BSA in the range of 0.050 to 1.0 mg·L-1,a fluorospectrophotometric method for determination of BSA using lumichrome as fluorescence probe was proposed.Detection limit (3S/N) of the method was found to be 8.0 μg·L-1.Recovery and precision of the method were tested by the standard addition method,giving values of recovery in the range of 95.0%-104.0%,and RSD′s (n=6) less than 2.5%.
