    Analysis of Explosion Products with Ion Chromatography and GC-MS

    • Methods of ion chromatography and GC-MS were proposed for the determination of the explosion products of explosives and reported in this paper.The cyanide in gaseous products was absorbed with 0.1 mol·L-1 NaOH solution and determined by ion chromatography (IC),with detection limit of 0.01 μg·L-1,recovery of 92.6%,correlation coefficient of 0.999 8 and RSD of 3.8%.The major and micro amount of components of the explosion products were analyzed by thermal desorption-GC-MS with direct sample introduction.Biphenyl,1-methyl-hydro-(1H)-2-acetonitrile,5-amino-3,4-dihydro-(2H)-pyrrole-2-acetonitrile,nitro-benzene,benzene and other toxic compounds were detected.
