    Determination of Trace Elements in Pollen by FAAS with Suspension Sample Introduction

    • A method based on preparation of pollen sample in suspension without use of stabilizer and contents of trace elements determined by flame AAS was proposed.The sample in suspensiton was introduced under stirring,and Cu,Fe,Mn,Zn,Pb,Cd,Ca,Mg,K,Na were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with standard additions.Interferences were eliminated by adding LaCl3 and CsCl.Accuracy and precision of the method were tested.Recovery of the method was in the range of 92.5%-112.5%,with RSD′s in the range of 0.24%-1.50% (n=6).Analytical results obtained by the proposed method were checked with those obtained by the ashing method by F-test and t-test,and no significant difference was found,thus the accuracy and reliability of the method was confirmed.
