    ICP-AES Determination of Microamounts of 19 Elements in Ag-In-Cd Alloys

    • 0.100 0 g of the alloy was dissolved in nitric acid and silver in the sample solution was precipitated as AgCl↓.The solution with the precipitate was diluted to 10 mL in a volumetric flask.Nineteen elements (Al,Ca,Cr,Fe,Mg,Mo,Ni,Ti,Ba,Bi,Co,Cu,Li,Mn,Pb,Sn,V,Y and Zn) in micro amounts were determined by ICP-AES in the supernatant layer.Analytical conditions,including choice of analytical spectral lines,flow-rate of carrying gas,concentration of HNO3 of sample solution,matrix effect of indium and cadmium and etc.,were studied and optimized.Range of determination for all these elements was found to be from 20 to 640 μg·g-1.Values of recovery and RSD′s(n=6) were in the ranges of 94%-104% and 2.6%-6.4% respectively.
