Abstract
Mechanism of the interaction of ciprofloxacin (CPFX) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by resonance Rayleigh-scattering spectrometric method. As shown by the experimental results, the coordination complex was formed between CPFX and BSA by electrostatic and hydrophobic reactions in B-R buffer solution of pH 6.55.The maximum value of intensity of resonance scattering of the complex was obtained in definite range at the wavelength of 469 nm.Linear relationship between the values of intensity of resonance scattering and concentration of CPFX and BSA was kept.A new resonance Rayleigh-scattering spectrometric method for the determination of CPFX and BSA was proposed on these basis.
