Abstract
RP-HPLC was applied to the determination of 5 components, including nitro-glycerol (NG), hexogen (RDX), nitroguanidine (NQ), centralite Ⅱ (C2) and dioctyl o-phthalate (DOP) in high energy gun propellant. The sample after dissolution was separated by using Agilent column (150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) as stationary phase, and a mixture of CH3OH-H2O (60+40) as mobile phase for NG, RDX, NQ and C2, and mixture of CH3OH-H2O (95+5) as mobile phase for DOP. The contents of the 5 components were determined at the wavelength 220 nm. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of NG, RDX, NQ, C2 and DOP were kept in ranges of 0.42-4.08 g·L-1, 1.41-5.04 g·L-1, 1.11-3.74 g·L-1, 0.07-0.90 g·L-1, 0.08-0.37 g·L-1, respectively. Tests for recovery and precision were made by standard addition method. Values of recovery and RSD′s (n=6) found were in the range of 99.3%-101.9% and 0.19%-3.1%, respectively.
