    ICP-AES Determination of Nb, Mn and Ti in Niobium Concentrates

    • ICP-AES was applied to the determination of Nb,Mn and Ti in niobium concentrates. Analytical spectral lines of 309.418,257.610 and 334.940 nm were chosen for the determination of Nb,Mn and Ti respectively. Linearity ranges for Nb,Mn and Ti found were between 1.00 mg·L-1 and 10.00 mg·L-1, with detection limits (3s) in the range of 0.010~0.015 mg·L-1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of the B-K1 standard sample, giving results in consistency with the certified values. Values of recovery obtained by standard addition method were found in the range of 94.5%-103% with RSD′s (n=11) in the range of 1.4%-2.7%.
