    • It was emphasized that purity of water used in preparation of solvents is of utmost importance in the dissolution of cadmium from ceramic articles of daily use.Carbonates and carbon dioxide dissolved in water suppressed the dissolution of cadmium from ceramics seriously and gave low results of cadmium in its determination.
