Comparison of Methods of Determination of Trace elements in Cuttlefish Bone

The sample of cuttlefish bone was digested under pressure ,and the contents of trace elements,including Fe,Zn,Cu,Mn,Ca,Mg,Co,Ni,K,Cr,Si,Al,Pb and Cd,in the solution obtained were determined by ICP-AES and FAAS.The values of recovery and RSD′s (n=6) found were in the ranges of 96.5%-107.1%,96.7%-100.3% and 0.7%-3.0%,0.2%~2.2% for FAAS and ICP-AES respectively.By F-and t-test,it was found that the results obtained by the two methods showed no significant differences.
