Abstract
Four native-made and imported testing cases for enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELIA) were studied comparatively for their efficiency in determination of residual amount of clenbuterol in pork, pork liver and pig urine. Standard solutions of clenbuterol at concentration levels of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 μg·kg-1 (or μg·L-1) were added to 3 different samples mentioned above and tested separated. As shown by the results of testing, ① quite obvious deviations were found between the native-made and imported testing cases, and ② the testing cases were relatively suitable for use in the ELIA of pig urine samples, while for the ELIA of the tissue samples, modifications for the methods used in some of the testing cases were found to be necessary.
