Application of Intelligent Infra Red Oil Determinator to the Determination of Mineral Oil in Water in Water Quality Testing

In the application of an intelligent infrared oil determinator,various influential factors,including the zero-setting,selection of the quartz absorption cell,choice of quality of carbon tetrachloride used and the dehydration efficiency,were studied and optimized. Results of recovery test were found in the range from 99.2% to 100.2%.
