    FAAS DETERMINATION OF LEAD IN SLUDGE——DIGESTION OF SAMPLE BY MICROWAVE-HEATING

    • The conditions of digestion of sludge sample (i.e.requiring less time and chemicals,decreasing environmental pollution and etc.) were remarkably improved by using microwave heating of the sample with acids in a tightly closed vessel.Parameters of microwave-heating were optimized by the orthogonal experimental design.Lead content in the sample solution was then determined by FAAS using standard calibration curve method.Working conditions of the instrument was also given.RSD′s (n=6) obtained were in the range of 1.5% to 4.7%.Recoveries found were in the range from 93.0% to 106.2%.
