    ICP-MS Determination of 9 Restricted Elements in Plastic Parts of Electrical and Electronic Products

    • The sample of plastic parts of electrical and electronic products was treated with HNO3 and H2O2 by microwave assisted digestion, and the contents of 9 restricted elements, including Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, Co, As, Sn, Si and B in the sample solution were determined by ICP-MS. The interferences were eliminated by suitable internal standard elements and correcton formula. The values of detection limit (3σ) of the method found were in the range of 0.01-4.38 μg·kg-1. The proposed method was applied in the analysis of samples of different plastic parts, giving values of recovery in the range of 100.2%-109.6%, and RSD′s (n=7) in the range of 1.7%-5.7%.
