Abstract
A new triazene reagent, 1-(4-antipyrine)-3-(2,4,6-tribromophenyl)-triazene (ABPT) was synthesized and characterized by elementary analysis and IR-spectrascopy. In a borax buffer of pH 10.0 and in the presence of Triton X-100, a ternary complex was formed among Ni(Ⅱ), ABPT and Triton X-100, having its absorption maximum at 515 nm, and molar absorptivity of 2.1 ×105L·mol-1·cm-1. Linearity range of Ni(Ⅱ) was kept from 20.0 to 400 μg·L-1, with value of detection limit (3s/k) of 8 μg·L-1. Samples of domestic gabbage and water were analyzed by the proposed method, giving results in consistency with those found by AAS, and values of RSD′s (n=6) found were less than 5%. Values of recovery found were in the range of 102.5% to 105.0%.
