    Comparative Study on Methods of GF-AAS and HG-AFS Determination of Lead in Soil

    • As a validity checking of the method of HG-AFS determination of lead in soil, a comparative study was made with the GB standard (GB/T 17141-1997, GF-AAS determination of lead in soil) through analysis of 3 soil standard samples (GSS-2, GSS-3 and GSS-7) in parallel. As shown by the testing results: analytical results of lead found by both of the methods were in consistency with the certified values; same levels of accuracy, precision and detection limits were attained by the 2 methods as revealed by the testing results. But in aspects of simplicity in operation and rapidity in analysis, HG-AFS bore its superiorities.
