Determination of Trace Amount of Se in Environmental Samples by HG-ICP-AES

Abstract
The environmental samples were digested in HNO3-H2O2-HF system using microwave,then the trace Se in the solution was mesured by HG-ICP-AES with a concentric glass nebulizer. Analytical spectral line of 196.090 nm was chosen for the determination of Se. The linear relationship between emission intensity and mass concentration of Se was obtained within 32 μg·L-1,with detection limit (3S/N) of 0.71 μg·L-1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of national standard reference materials,giving results in agreement with certified values. The recovery rates and RSD′s (n=6) were 85.8%-102% and 0.38%-2.3%,respectively.
