Abstract
Based on the catalytic action of tetracarboxyphthalocyanine (FeTCPc) on the oxidation of L-tyrosine by H2O2 in Na2HPO4-KH2PO4 buffer medium, forming fluorescence dimer, a fluorophotometric method for determination of H2O2 was proposed. Linear relationship was found between values of ΔF (F-F0) measured at wavelengths of 320 nm (λex) and 410 nm (λem) and concentration of H2O2 in the range of 7.6×10-7-2.7×10-5mol·L-1. Limit of detection (3s/k) of the method found was 5.2×10-8mol·L-1. The proposed method was used in the determination of H2O2 in water samples, giving values of recovery ranged from 96.5%-96.9%, and values of RSD′s (n=5) ranged from 1.0%-2.8%.
