Abstract
A method for the determination of trace amount of bismuth in high purity zinc by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry was proposed. The optimum determination conditions were studied in detail.Thiourea-ascorbic acid-hydroxyl amine hydrocloride as the mask reagent were employed. The method can be applied to the determination of 2.0×10-5-1.0×10-2% Bismuth in high-purity zinc with the recovery of 98.5%-105.0% and RSD of 3.9%.
