Abstract
A method of chemiluminescence coupled with flow injection was proposed for the determination of sodium pentachlorophenate (PCP-Na) in water and loess, based on the inhibition effect of PCP-Na on the chemiluminescence of the CdTe quantum dots-luminol-KIO4 system in alkaline medium, in which CdTe quantum dots showed a strong enhancement effect on the chemiluminescence of luminol-KIO4 system. The effects of experimental conditions were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, linear relationship was found between the changes of the chemiluminescence intensity and the mass concentration of PCP-Na in the range of 8.0×10-5~1.0×10-3g·L-1 with detection limit (3σ) of 6.5×10-5g·L-1. The method was applied to determine PCP-Na in water and soil samples, giving recovery rates measured by standard addition method in the range of 95.0%-103% and RSD (n=5) in the range of 0.58%-2.9%.
