Progress on Determination of Chloride in Drinking Water and Sample Preparation Techniques

A review on the recent progress of researches on determination of chloride in our drinking water and sample preparation techniques was presented. The sample preparation techniques reviewed are reagent method and ion exchange resin method. Methods for determination included conventional methods of chemical analysis (volumetric method and spectrophotometry), electroanalytical method (potentiometric titration and electrochemical method ), IC, spectrometry (AAS and Resonance scattering spectrometry), and continuous flow injection method, etc. (37 ref. cited).
