Abstract
HG-AFS with micro-wave assisted sample digestion was applied to the determination of selenium and tellurium in soil. Parameters of sample digestion, working conditions of the instrument and reaction condition of hydride generation were tested and discussed. Detection limits of this method were found to be 0.01 μg·g-1 for both elements. Linear relationships between the fluorescence intensity and concentration of Se and Te were found in the ranges of 5-100 μg·g-1 and 0.5-10 μg·g-1 respectively. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of 3 soil samples. Values of RSD′s (n=5) found for both elements were less than 5%,and values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the ranges of 92.0%-102.6% (for Se) and 90.1%-98.8% (for Te).
