    GF-AAS Determination of Lead in Propolis

    • Sample of propolis was digested with conc.HNO3 and conc.HClO4 mixture,until the color of solution turned to colorless or light yellow and fumed with HClO4.The solution was diluted with 0.5 mol·L-1 HNO3 and used for AAS determination.Linear regression equation of the calibration curve was found as A=0.001 6 C+0.006 3 (r=0.999 8).Detection limit (S/N=3) of the method was found to be 0.04 mg·kg-1.The proposed method was used in the analysis of substantial samples for the lead contents,giving value of RSD (n=6) 1.0%,and values of recovery in the range from 76.0%-105.0%.
