ICP-AES Determination of B2O3 and MnO2 in Sinter Synergistic Agent

Abstract
An ICP-AES method for the determination of principal components B2O3 and MnO2 in sinter synergistic agent was proposed. The sample was dissolved with a mixed solution of HCl and HNO3. The wavelengths of 257.610 and 249.773 nm were selected as analytical lines for determination of B and Mn respectively. The interference were eliminated by background correction. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of samples of sinter synergistic agent, giving results in consistency with those obtained by chemical method.
