Abstract
The method of HG-AFS was applied to the determination of cadmium in soil.Sample of soil was digested with aqua regia in a microwave oven under optimized working condition. It was found that the efficiency of hydride generation of cadmium was remarkably raised by addition of an appropriate amount of 8-oxine and Co(Ⅱ) ion;hence solutions of 8-oxine and Co(Ⅱ) ion were added as synergistic reagent for hydride generation.Detection limit (3s/k) of the proposed method was found to be 0.03 μg·L-1.In application of the method to analysis of soil samples, the results obtained were in conformity with the known values, and values of RSD′s (n=6) found were less than 3%.Values of recovery found by standard addition method were ranged from 89% to 111%.
