Abstract
Samples of tobacco essence were extracted individually by 4 different methods, i.e., liquid-liquid extraction, ultrasonic solvent extraction, solid phase micro-extraction and direct dilution sample introduction, and the volatile and semi-volatile components in the extracts were identified and determined by GC-MS. It was found that higher information content and extraction efficiency of fragrant components were obtained by the method of direct dilution sample introduction. Totally 19 compounds were identified and determined by the method of normalization, with their relative contents (in %) amounting to 85.4% of the total peak areas.
