AAS Determination of Inorganic Elements in Medicinal Rhizoma Curcumae Longae

AAS was applied to the determination of 10 inorganic elements in medicinal rhizoma curcumae longae grown especially in sichuan province.Mg,Ca,Fe,Mn,Zn and Cu were determined by FAAS and Mo,Pb,Cd,Cr by GFAAS.Among these elements,content of Mg found was the highest,while content of Cr was the lowest (or even none was found).Values of recovery for Mg,Ca,Fe,Mn,Zn and Cu were found in the range of 99.0%-103.6%,and for Mo,Pb,Cd and Cr were found ranged of 100.0%-114.0%,with all the values of RSD′s (n=5) less than 3.0%.
