ICP-MS Determination of Metal Elements in Rootstock of Reineckea Carnea Kunth.

The sample of rootstock of Reineckea carnea Kunth. was treated by microwave assisted digestion, and the contents of 27 metal elements in the sample solution were determined by ICP-MS. The multi-atomic ion effect on the determination of Li, Be, B, Mg, Al, Co, Ni, Ga, Rb, Sr, Te, Ba, Bi and U was eliminated by collision cell technique. Values of detection limit (3s) of the method found were in the range of 0.003-9.79 μg·L-1. The proposed method was applied in the analysis of substantial samples, giving values of recovery in the range of 92.0%-106%, and RSD′s (n=8) in the range of 0.06%-4.4%.
