    GC-MS Analysis of Treemoss Concrete for Its Components in Aroma with Solid Phase Micro-extraction

    • Components of aroma of treemoss concrete were separated and identified by solid phase micro-extraction and GC-MS, and their relative contents (in %) were found by the method of normalization. To attain a higher efficiency in SPME, the 100 μm PDMS fiber as coating was selected for the micro-extractor, the extraction was carried out at 65 ℃ for 30 min. Sixty-two compounds were identified among which 33 compounds were esters, amounting to 58% of the total peak areas of the aroma. These esters were the important ingredients composing the flavor characteristics of treemoss concrete.
