Abstract
A flow injection-chemiluminescence (FI-CL) method for the determination of dopamine hydrochloride was developed, based on its marked quenching effect on the chemiluminescence of luminol-bull serum albumin system. Linear relationship was found between the decrement of CL intensity and the logarithm of mass concentration of dopamine hydrochloride ranging from 0.10 to 700 μg·L-1 with the detection limit (3σ) of 0.03 μg·L-1. The proposed method was applied for the determination of dopamine hydrochloride in injections, with values of recovery and RSD (n=7) in the range of 97.9%-103%, 1.0%-3.2% respectively. The determination values of this method were consistent with those of pharmacopeia method. This method was also applied to determine dopamine hydrochloride in human saliva, urine and serum samples.
