    FAAS Determination of Pb and Cd in Zn-Mn Battery with Resin Column Enrichment

    • Reliability of the analytical results of Pb and Cd in Zn-Mn battery determined by FAAS was studied in this paper.For the typical battery 4R25,concentration of the main components Zn and Mn in sample solution was more than 40 g·L-1,so that inaccurate results would be obtained by using the routine method.In this work,a micro-column loaded with resin CL-7301 was used to separate and enrich the analytes Pb and Cd from the matrix Zn and Mn in the testing solution,and flame atomic absorption spectrometry was then used for the determination.In case of a high concentration of Pb and Cd,the sample solution should be pre-diluted before determination.
