    ICP-AES Determination of Lead and Cadmium in Flour

    • A method of ICP-AES for the determination of Pb and Cd in flour was proposed. Flour was dissolved with ethanol and HNO3, and Triton X-80 solution was added as dispersing agent. The suspension obtained was dispersed with homogenizer for 10 min and agitated with magnetic stir for 8 min, then introduced into the instrument for analysis. Values of detection limits of the method were 0.05 mg·L-1 and 0.006 mg·L-1 and values of recovery found were 98.8% and 96.7% for Pb and Cd respectively.
