Advances in Quantitative Analysis of Multicomponent Tobacco Flavors

    • An overview of the research progress of quantitative analysis methods of the complex tobacco flavors was presented. The common chromatographic quantitative analysis methods, like area normalization method, internal standard method, external standard method and standard addition method, were mainly used to quantify the targeted compounds in the tobacco flavors. The profound and thorough quantitative analysis of all components of the tobacco flavors could be achieved by the multi-standard method, characterized peak-internal standard method and multivariate calibration method (48 ref. cited).
