HPLC-MS Analysis of Glycerol Oleate

HPLC-MS was applied to the determinations of glyceryl monooleate,diolein and glycerol trioleate in glycerol oleate.The sample was dissolved with a mixed solution of n-hexane and acetone (75+25),and separated by gradient elution with mixed solution of n-hexane and acetone of different ratios on Lichrospher SI100-5 column (4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm).Evaporation light scattering detector (ELSD) was used in the determination.The content of glyceryl monooleate,diolein and glycerol trioleate in glycerol oleate were determined by peak area normalization method and identified by MS.
