    Thermo-Kinetic Study on the Redox Reaction Between Methylene Blue and Bromate Radical by Micro-Calorimetry

    • Thermokinetic characteristics of the redox reaction between methylene blue solution and potassium bromate solution was studied by micro-calorimetry.Based on the data obntained with the micro-calorimeter,3 thermodynamic parameters (i.e.,the activation entralpy,the activation entropy and the activation free energy),the reaction-rate constant,and 3 kinetic parameters (i.e.,the activation energy,the pre-exponential factor and the reaction order) of the redox reaction were calculated.A discussion on the reaction mechanism was also given.
