Abstract
A specially made stainless steel tube, used as atomizer instead of the graphite furnace, was installed at the top of the N2O-C2H2 flame of the atomic absorption spectrometer.Sample solution of stainless steel was introduced into the stainless steel tube, and microamounts of arsenic in the sample were determined by AAS with non-flame atomization in high-temperature flame of N2O-C2H2.The standard addition method was used in the determination.Characteristic mass and absolute detection limit (3σ) of the method were found to be 59 pg/1% and 3.6 pg respectively.
