    FAAS Determination of Trace Amount of Trace Elements in Rhizoma Polygonati Officinalis and Rhizoma Alismatis

    • Contents of six trace elements,including Ca,Zn,Fe,Mn,Cu and K in rhizoma polygonati officinalis and rhizoma alismatis were determined by FAAS.The samples were digested with a mixed solution of HNO3 and HClO4(4+1 by vol.),and the wavelengths of 422.7,213.9,279.5,324.8,766.5 and 296.7 nm were selected as analytical lines for determination of the 6 elements respectively.Linear relationships of values of peak area and mass concentration of the 6 elements were obtained in definite ranges.The proposed method was used in the analysis of samples of rhizoma polygonati officinalis and rhizoma alismatis,giving values of RSD′s (n=7) less than 2.5% and recovery in the range of 96.2%-105.8%.
