Abstract
A SiO2/Ppy/PSS/Ru(bpy)32+ composite film modified electrode was fabricated using indium tin oxide (ITO) conductive glass as the substrate. Based on the significant enhancement of electrochemiluminescence of chlorpheniramine maleate (CM) at the composite film modified electrode in a PBS of pH 8.00, a highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) method was proposed for the determination of CM. Linear relationship between magnitude of enhancement of ECL intensity and concentration of CM was obtained in the range of 30-100 μmol·L-1, with value of detection limit (3S/N) for CM of 9.0×10-2μmol·L-1. Values of RSD (n=11) found with a same modified electrode in successive determinations of 2.0 μmol·L-1 CM standard solution was 1.3%. The proposed method was applied to the determination of CM in “Vitamin C Yinqiao” tablet, giving values of recovery in the range of 96.5%-98.8%.
