Abstract
Four odorous compounds, i.e., 2-methylisoborneol, geosmin, β-cyclocitral and β-ionone in water sample were extracted by dispersive liquid-liquid micro-extraction with tetrachloroethylene as extractant and acetone as dispersant. The extract was analyzed by GC-MS. Under the selection ion monitoring mode, linearity ranges for 4 odorous compounds were same between 0.05-20 μg·L-1, with limits of detection (3S/N) of 0.03 μg·L-1 for 2-methylisoborneol, 0.02 μg·L-1 for β-cyclocitral, 0.01 μg·L-1 for geosmin and β-ionone. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of samples of tap water and river water, giving values of recovery and RSD′s (n=6) in the ranges of 87.7%-102% and 1.8%-7.8% respectively.
