Abstract
Sample of cigarette paper was ignited for 20 min in the microwave ashing system at 450 ℃, and the residue was dissolved with (φ) 2.5% HCl solution. The solution was diluted to 50 mL in a volumetric flask and used for AFS determination of Cd. Under the optimized conditions, linear relationship between values of fluorescence intensity and mass concentration of Cd was obtained in the range of 0.2-10 μg·L-1, with detection limit (3s/k) 0.018 μg·L-1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of cigarette paper, giving values of recovery in the range of 94.4%-98.4%. Values of intraday and interday RSD′s (n=7) found were 2.2% and 2.8% respectively.
