    ICP-MS Determination of Tungsten and Molybdenum in Water Sediments with Microwave Assisted Sample Digestion

    • ICP-MS determination of tungsten and molybdenum in water sediments and sample digestion with HNO3 and HF using the MARS 5 microwave digestor were reported.Working parameters of the instruments were studied and optimized.Detection limits (3s/k) found for Wand Mo were 0.03,0.07 μg·g-1 respectively.Accuracy and precision of the proposed method were tested by analyzing 4 CRM′s of water sediments,giving results in consistency with the certified values and values of RSD′s (n=7) less than 8.5%.
