Abstract
Micro-amounts of Al,Ba,Ca,Co,Cu,Fe,Mn,Ni,V and Zn in molybdenum were separated from the matrix by cation exchange resin, and determined by ICP-AES.Preparation of the cation exchange column and analytical conditions, including conditions of separation, choice of analytical spectral lines as well as the acidity of sample and carrier solutions were tested and optimized.Range of determination for all the 10 element was in the range of 10-160 μg·g-1,on the base of taking 1 g sample.Values of determination limit (10S/N) for these elements were same and attaining to 0.10 mg·L-1.Results of recovery test found were in the range of 94.2%-110.0%.Precision tests were made giving values of RSD′s (n=11) in the range from 3.3% to 7.9%.No significant difference was found between the results obtained by this method and by the AAS method.
