Recent Advances of Researches on Analytical Methods for Rare and Dispersed Elements

A review on the recent advances of researches on analytical methods of rare and dispersed elements (i.e., Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Se and Te) covering mainly the years from 1990 to 2012 was given, and relating especially to the topic on the methods of decomposition of sample, separation and enrichment of the elements and analytical methods. The characteristics and defects of the analytical methods including spectrophotometry, MFS, AFS, AAS, electrochemical method, ICP-AES, ICP-MS, neutron activation analysis and chemoluminescence methods were related. A forecast for the future application of these analytical methods was also given (90 ref. cited).
