Abstract
Stability of hydrogen sulfide solution was studied by measuring the concentration change of S2- under different alkaline and temperature conditions using ion chromatograghy, in addition, long-term stability was studied too. It was found that stability of hydrogen sulfide solution decreased as temperature rose. At 15 ℃-25 ℃, hydrogen sulfide solution was stable when pH no less than 11; the solution stability decreased as pH decreased when pH less than 11; when the concentration of NaOH was at 20 mmol·L-1, even if S2- concentration was as low as 1 μg·L-1, hydrogen sulfide solution was stable for at least 30 days.
